Development and wearer trial of ECG-garment with textile-based dry electrodes

This paper presents the design and development process of ECG (electrocardiogram) garments using different textile-based dry electrodes assesses their performance through wearer trials. To comply with criteria identified for such garments, sequences sketches modified features, physical prototyping trial industry grade mannequin were first implemented before finalising a prototype three fabrics chest, front back panels. configured on chest panel individually following two conductive textile materials - single jersey knitted fabric embroidery thread – to construct prototypes, which wearer-trialled human participant. Results show that embroidered performed better than in detection still active conditions within same garment.
